A end to an ERA!

We started the house buying process back late February  quickly found the house we now call home. I can say without the shadow of a doubt we probably had one of the worst experiences buying a house. We got a great deal though. It was a long grueling process, and I can say the only part we enjoyed was the beginning and that was looking at the houses.

Through out many broken promises and dates, extended contracts the process finally ended this morning. It was not exciting, we signed papers for the 2nd time last friday. Both times instead of leaving the attorneys office happy and a excited family, they were both disappointing.

We were homeless for about a week and a day, our puppies were boarded shortly under 2 weeks. It was truly a roller coaster ride. One day I will sit down a tell you all about it. For now just rejoice with us that it is all over.

Alyssa is LOVING her new school, she is currently attending a christian academy. She suits her little uniforms well. The dogs are adjusting well, they cant wait to get themselves a fence.. Well I think I am the most anxious about that. I can send there little butts right on outside with no worries. Our zoie is still hiding. She seriously only comes out when Alyssa comes home from school.

We have alot of plans for the house, and will be updating you here ALOT more often :)

Here are a few photos from my iPhone, sadly I have lost the connector to my camera. :(

Im working on our first Video and a floor plan :) They will be coming soon! Keep a eye out!

On a normal Thursday, the day before my birthday I got the best surprise a girl could ask for. I had finished my day of work, and picked up my girl from school because my lovely significant other had told me he would be running late.

The evening pressed on and we went for a walk and i get this random text from him that stated, " I feel like I am meeting someone off a dating website for the first time, in a non relationship kind of way." Instantly I was so mad and hurt and confused. I tried to get him to talk to me about it, and all he would say was that he would talk to me when he got home.

I left... for a longer walk. And when he got home I did not want to come back. He called me and begged me to come home, so I eventually agreed and he was waiting for me on the porch. We came in and as I was walking to my bedroom ( that's where I like to "talk" ) this amazing woman popped out the spare bedroom. Amanda Morse Jones. My best friend, that I haven't seen since the sad day she left Florida to go back home where her family lives.

Here is the video and you can hear our surprise/excitement :)

We were happily ever after for days and days and days.

How she got here??? She was my present from my gregory. He called her and asked her if she wanted to come down and surprise me and she said yes! So he flew here here from Thursday to Tuesday!

We done so much! Movies, Starbucks, Good will, Lunch & dinner dates. We went out on the town, & got our palms read. It was utter perfection.

You come back soon now ya here??

May 30 untill now..

We have a lot to catch up on...

I have been kinda stuck here blogging because I didn't know what to say or even how to say it. There has been so many things that have happened and I wasnt sure what was appropriate. Kala's now living back home with my parents. It was a tough decision and it broke all of our hearts, but it was for the best. Rules weren't being followed and we kept being disrespected. So Greg and I done the best thing we knew to do and just take her back home.

Good news is that she graduated. We were all so proud of her. On June 5th my teenager walked across the sage, and we had a great day celebrating it.

Wasnt she just beautiful :) She beamed!

We celebrated with a fair amount of close friends and family. It truly was a great way to spend kalas day. We sure do miss that girl, and we hope that she makes the right decisions in life, and lives a long and happy one.

My last post I was blogging about a planner I had bought that "substituted" the famous Life Planner. When they came out and started being printed and posting photos, I just couldn't hide it, I was so jealous. I have been wanting one for so long and I was just going to pass again.. and that damn sweet boyfriend of mine bought me one. He insisted on buying me one simply because "I deserved it." Let me tell you that was the longest 23 days I had.. I checked the status ever day, checked there pages to see if my planner had printed and hoped they would post a photo of it like they had others. Low and behold on the famous Friday the 13th she came in the mail. Shes everything I hoped her to be and more... :)

We still have not got any word on the house. :( Boo I know. Its pretty lame, and we are beginning to get VERY antsy.

On the 4th of July, we went to "The Australians" Nigel & Nichole's House. It was such a great time. They had tons of food, tons of fireworks and a 22 FT water slide.  It sure was a BLAST!!

This past Sunday we had greg had his first WIN of the season. We were all SOO excited for him. Shitty part is they don't give trophies.. So all we had to show was a 100 dollar bill :)

There are so many other fun times we have had already this summer, I cant even list them all. I do have a big fun blog planned My birthday weekend!!!So yall hang tight and I will be back before to long with the best weekend of all :)

Target saved me :)

Yesterday I wrote about the amazing life planner, and how I was counting down the days until I could get my sweet little hands on one. I was still ashamed I wanted to spend that amount of money on a planner, when I have went threw at least 3 this year already. ekk

Today Target saved me, saved me money, saved my time of being anxious awaiting the planner to come in the mail, saved me time on having to choose the planner and customize it to my liking.

While we were totally perusing target (for kala some cheaper graduation shoes) I had to scan the planner isle do to my obsession with planners. And I found this sweet baby. Now for all you life planner fans, I still love the  life planner, she just has most of everything I was looking for and it was for only 11.99 :)

The Front and First page :)

A page for school schedule, and then a page for important dates to remember.

2 year calender

The month view

After the month view there is a notes page, the left side is just lines, the right side has graph lines. (Not sure why, but whatever!)

The weekly view.

Close up of the tabs, and the back. Best of all its recycled!

I think a lot of it I am going to be using a pencil, I hate not being able to erase something I wrote in. I will be giving you all a update once I can start writing and actually using it. The months don't start until July. UGH!!!

I fully intend on using  post it flags to write down what bills are due, and stick them to the date they are due and once I pay them I can place them on the next month. They also can be used for anything else that I don't want to be permanent to the planner.  YAY!

Oh well I love it, and I think I will love it just like I would have loved a life planner, Hope the bestie loves it too cause I bought her the same one for her birthday :)

Funny of the day & a few randoms

* So this morning, Alyssa and I headed out the door like we always do, a little early as a matter of fact. There was leaves and small tree branches strewn due to Beryl.  She was about 2 steps behind me and all of a sudden I hear her making some noise, I turn around Alyssa had a branch, not a limb a branch tangled in her necklace. Instead of instantly helping her like the normal parent, I started instantly digging for my phone. It was so funny. I have no idea how the kid managed to get the branch tangled in her necklace. She ripped the necklace off along with her bow with it, and got in the truck with a big pouty face. She DID NOT think it was as good of a photo op as me. I did manage to get a photo of the intertwined necklace and branch.

* Today like today I love my job, they were giving out thank you bonus checks! Thank you Borland-Groover!!

* We had a pretty great three day weekend. Dinner with some friends Friday night, Sat we went to the dog park, and went to the beach, Sun we went and bought the laptop, a ezup for the track so we stop sitting in the sun for 8+ hours a day. Then we hunkered down the the storm. Monday, we got up and cleaned and went to lunch, and then had some friends over for a small BBQ :)

* I am counting down the days until I can get my hands on a Erin Condren life planner. I don't think my Gregory is too excited about me buying one but he buys car parts all the time :)

*Most of all we only have 3 more days until its Friday again :) Then next week we have a big week planned, Greg's mom comes in Sat, Tuesday is kalas graduation. Our original closing date was this upcoming week too, but I dont think its gonna happen due to us not even having word as too if the bank is going to accept our offer.

Hope everyone has a great night , I'm going to deal with some MBS, aka Moody baby syndrome :)

Beryl wasn't sooo bad

Had he had time time to get hisself a little more together I think we have had a aweful storm.

I went out this morning to see if I could find some damages, and there were a few things that caught my eye.

I know he did more damage in other areas this was just within a mile of where we lived. There were a few other down trees but nothing I could really snap at the time.

We had brought out all of our candles and lighters and put them in a central location in case the power went out and put some waters in the fridge. That was about all the preparing we done cause we knew it wouldnt be too bad.

During the storm we just hunkered down and home and watched some tv, and played on the internet. We never lost power though thankfully.

As of today, its still kinda gloomy were gonna try to get some cookin out in anyways. So here to all of those that served, the ones we lost while surving, and to those who are still serving. I am so thankful for you. Hope everyone is having a blessed memorial day. :)
