Drum Roll Please...

I would like to announce the arrival of our newest love. Shes Big and Sexy, shes black and sleek. Shes everything I could have imagined in a ride.

If anyone noticed I posted a small sneak peak of her next to Betty (black Betty, the caddy) sometime last week. We were still trying to decide if she was ours at the time, but we finally decided that our home is the only place she needs to be.

She looks so good sitting right next to betty. 

What can I say were car lovers??

Anyways she needs a name... any help would be appreciated. Do you name your cars?

Update: Her name is Charlotte, and yes besides the fact that she drinks gas like theres a never ending supply we still love her -- our wallets dont :)

her last first day...

This was my Senior on her last first day or high school.

(and this was the day I failed at being a guardian, i forgot to give her lunch money, so not only did she eat alone, she didn't eat at all ) 

Ahh, and the good times roll in our house :)

We finally knocked another one off the 101. Number 82 stumbled upon us just outta the blue. It sure was fun,  but I have to admit that we are NOT Italians. If we ask you to come make home made pizzas with us, just say no and leave it at that. I probably ate about 3 bites, truthfully.  Oh well it was fun, and we snapped some fun pics, and yes we had to eat outside because.... yup, our air is out AGAIN!

C'mon in

Now that almost all the boxes and contents in the boxes, are put somewhere unpacked, I figured I would give you a little idea of our little apartment.

The living room

There are a few things we have in mind. Like some fun wall art, and a wooden pallet coffee table, and come curtain and new tv stand.

This is the future command center wall :)

 Gonna be putting some floating shelves back here. probley?

 This is the kitchen, and its updated compared to the old stove :P

Ha, here is the darling teenagers room, she has some nifty stuff coming up soon as well.

Yup and this is the girls current situation.. She has lots of fun things planned. Im at a stump for storage for her toys thou. Help.. anyone??

Our bedroom...Not sure where we are going with it, but we will keep you updated :)

There are lots of things that I still have to find a home for, but its coming together slowly and surely. Its a smitten bigger than our last place, and we can use our washer and dryer. Therefore we are happy :)

On moving day...

As we thought was a normal moving day. 

I just knew that it was gonna be fine, no bumps. 

Greg and I had carefully planned the day so that we wouldnt "bump heads."

(knowing him us it was certain to happen, but we were trying to not)

As I was driving to sign the least I saw a "heating and AC" truck outside the future residence, and was silently hoping that it was someone elses apt. 

Horrible person I am wishing no ac on someone else, but hey in all fairness I did my fair share of no ac for a week of summer. You can read all about that here.

As im signing the least they tell me that they are making a small change into something in my ac unit, that it was no problem. It would be fixed in no time.

I walk my happy little rump in there and see this..

Which in turn leads to this... a not so happy lover boy.

Yup, our AC is out. In the new apt. About 2 weeks after our ac was out in the old apartment.

Need less to say we did not start off well. 

We done the best we could and moved everything but the beds, so come Tues when we got our ac back we could move the beds and finish everything.

Tuesday rolled around and we got our ac finally running, and finished the move.

It was a long testy one, but we managed to only argue about a few things, and I can list those :

1) Chalk Board Labels

2) Food

3) Whos doing what

4) and more food..

Food was a testy one :)

Hope everyone has/had better luck with Air Conditioning this summer than us.

Hello!

Were almost all set up from the move. It was a long one that started with no AC. Yup we had no air condition in the new apt when we started moving. I will write a whole post about that. Till then here are a few moments captured :)
