We finally knocked another one off the 101. Number 82 stumbled upon us just outta the blue. It sure was fun,  but I have to admit that we are NOT Italians. If we ask you to come make home made pizzas with us, just say no and leave it at that. I probably ate about 3 bites, truthfully.  Oh well it was fun, and we snapped some fun pics, and yes we had to eat outside because.... yup, our air is out AGAIN!

Please pray for my sanity :) 

  

I have to say the best part of the night was watching alyssa give kala a biggole' wet willy :)

Hello July!

I can NOT believe, OK maybe I can  that half of 2011 is gone already.

This woman has got to get down to business on her 101. I have lots of slacking to catch up on.

Slacker RIGHT here!

Life's not slowing down at all really, Seems to be only growing and growing. (that's what she said)! HA OK anyways. So lemme give u a down low on whats been going on with me and my little life.

My girl is now 3 1/2, and boy is she such of a sassy little girl. This parenting this is a beautiful mess isn't it? I just love it to pieces. Evey morning she wakes up and comes and cuddles with me for about 5-10 mins, and its like "our" time for the day. She now tells me what she wants to wear and dresses her self. She writes her name, and loves to learn and write more and more every day.

We have had to extend bedtime. We never had a problem with the time change until this summer. Since she wakes up at ya know, the ass crack of dawn 6:45, we decided that it wont hurt her to go to bed at nine, when shes good and tired. I tried 8:30 but she was still tossing and turning and finding excuses to come out her room. So nine has been working great. She loves to go swimming and going to the beach this year.

My darling "very teenage" sister had come to send the summer with us like usual, and for that we were soo very excited about. Come to find out she wanted to make this situations a little more PERMANENT. EKK

HECK YES??

Getting to have a real relationship with her again, I think so!

Getting to watch her and help her grow into a beautiful, and amazing young lady, I think so!

Getting to help her get a first job and help her through her senior year, I think so!

(this could go on and on)

Needless to say we are all so excited. Not only for our family to grow bigger, but for us to all be together. I can have my sister again FINALLY! Alyssa can have her aunt ( cause she just adores her aunt Kala not really sure why, ha ha JK), and Greg looks to her like his little sister. Its all just lovely.

Greg and I, we are doing just lovely! We have had our ups and down, but quickly realized that we are good for each other. I don't know if we have ever been better.

So that's that, were going to be moving soon to accommodate that very teenager darling sister of mine. Bigger place, means another room to decorate. Maybe this time I will actually blog about that decorating process. Only if I was as good as the lovely YHL, or BPB. They are amazing and rock my socks.

Finally number 7 on my 101.

 I finally done it, that is number 7 on my 101. It was def quite challenging, but this morning on the way to work something told me it was time to do it.  Its not very long, but I didnt need it to be.

 

Dear Lyssa,

           Its now been almost 4 years since I first laid my eyes on you there on the monitor of my first doctors appointment, before I knew it I had you, there in my arms. The most beautiful 7lb red-headed baby, with blue eyes I had ever seen. I never though I could love and cherish someone so much. You truly are a gift from god, only he could bless me with something like you. Sometimes I sit back and watch you play, talk, & laugh. I will always remember that sparkle of your eyes as you would cackle, or the curl or your hair. Oh there are so many more little things. You are amazing dear, with every breath you take.

           You have always been loved everywhere you go, even as a infant. There is something about you that is just so humble, and lovely. I could not have been blessed with anything more beautiful. Sometimes when you are sleeping I just come and cuddle with you, or swoop you up and bring you back to my bed, and cuddle with you for hours.I hope you grow up and become all you hope in dream about. I know that you deserve all of it and more. Your so smart and I know you can achieve it. Not only are you smart and beautiful, but you have a heart of gold.

           Thank you Alyssa Marie, for making me so happy & giving me life full of laughter and heart full of love. You really warm my soul. You have made me the woman I am today. I am so proud to be your mommy.

On more new years resolutions :)

Let me start off by saving I have created a horrible routein. Every day after we get home from work/schoool I have always put lyssa on a show so I can wind down, and start making dinner. Well now its a must for my girl.

Soo, im going to try and stop that. Im gonna try to get some "homework" in. :) Maybe come home, catch up with mickey & minnie, or oso for that matter for about 30 mins and try to get my girl to do some homework with mama for the other 30 mins untill dinner is done. She loved to draw and color so why not :)

For christmas she got this awesome preschooler workbook.

Im hoping that we can work on a section a week.

Also, I dont know if anyone has noticed my slackerism, thats been going on but I have no worked on my 101 in quite sometime. (you can see that here)

In order to get back on target im going to be picking and choosing a few things a week to accomplish.

Numbers to work on are... #6, 14, 15, 30, 60, 64, 70, 73, 85, 95

So wish me luck:)

So today my daughter amazes me again..

I woke up this morning, all anxious about alyssa starting school. I expected a terrible, crying, reaching to fall in my arms again hard goodbye, when I had to leave. To my amazement the teacher just had to to hold her and  she was fine.

I called up there when I got to work, and they told me she ate her breakfast and was fine.. WITH NO TEARS. Are you kidding me? My child that has never been to day care, thats never seen these people before didnt cry? Thats so amazing. I am such a proud mommy right now.

After that a friend went by to drop her son off, and spied on her said that she was fine playing with another little girl. :) Ahh so happy. I tried to get a picture to share but ya right, she told me no. I was gonna do it anyway but the dern battery was dead. HA joke on mommy.

Anyways I just wanted to share a milestone. (which is 95 on my 101) is this journey we call life.
