Funny of the day & a few randoms

* So this morning, Alyssa and I headed out the door like we always do, a little early as a matter of fact. There was leaves and small tree branches strewn due to Beryl.  She was about 2 steps behind me and all of a sudden I hear her making some noise, I turn around Alyssa had a branch, not a limb a branch tangled in her necklace. Instead of instantly helping her like the normal parent, I started instantly digging for my phone. It was so funny. I have no idea how the kid managed to get the branch tangled in her necklace. She ripped the necklace off along with her bow with it, and got in the truck with a big pouty face. She DID NOT think it was as good of a photo op as me. I did manage to get a photo of the intertwined necklace and branch.

* Today like today I love my job, they were giving out thank you bonus checks! Thank you Borland-Groover!!

* We had a pretty great three day weekend. Dinner with some friends Friday night, Sat we went to the dog park, and went to the beach, Sun we went and bought the laptop, a ezup for the track so we stop sitting in the sun for 8+ hours a day. Then we hunkered down the the storm. Monday, we got up and cleaned and went to lunch, and then had some friends over for a small BBQ :)

* I am counting down the days until I can get my hands on a Erin Condren life planner. I don't think my Gregory is too excited about me buying one but he buys car parts all the time :)

*Most of all we only have 3 more days until its Friday again :) Then next week we have a big week planned, Greg's mom comes in Sat, Tuesday is kalas graduation. Our original closing date was this upcoming week too, but I dont think its gonna happen due to us not even having word as too if the bank is going to accept our offer.

Beryl wasn't sooo bad

Had he had time time to get hisself a little more together I think we have had a aweful storm.

I went out this morning to see if I could find some damages, and there were a few things that caught my eye.

I know he did more damage in other areas this was just within a mile of where we lived. There were a few other down trees but nothing I could really snap at the time.

We had brought out all of our candles and lighters and put them in a central location in case the power went out and put some waters in the fridge. That was about all the preparing we done cause we knew it wouldnt be too bad.

During the storm we just hunkered down and home and watched some tv, and played on the internet. We never lost power though thankfully.

As of today, its still kinda gloomy were gonna try to get some cookin out in anyways. So here to all of those that served, the ones we lost while surving, and to those who are still serving. I am so thankful for you. Hope everyone is having a blessed memorial day. :)

For allowing me to get a new laptop so I can blog, and read blogs, and comment on blogs  start school in the fall. :) That right Im a college girl now. Thank you, I know I know I have alot on my plate, but its nothing I can handle.

I didnt get the mac book I wanted but thats ok. I shouldnt really spend the 1200 at the moment right now anyways. Afterall we are buying a house. LOL

Man this weather is crazy. I had no idea about this tropical storm untill like friday. Kalas work even got closed down. Thankfully I dont have to be driving in this weather tomorrow morning. Its been a lovely afternoon here at the house. Although I was very thrilled about grilling me some burgers tomorrow, but I dont know how much of that grilling can be done. We shall see what Beryl has in store for us the next 24 hours.



Were right there in middle, Yea that green dot. When we were picking up kala from work, gregs portable weather station was picking up wind gust at 25 mph, and that was at 6.

Anyways, today i found 2 for the 3 furbaby kittens a home. Thnakfully they we to what seemed to be a great home, and 2 went together. The last one here at home seems so sad and she misses her sisters. It was hard to watch them go after you raised them. I guess its the same as children, It would be hard for every mom to let go.

Anyways everyone, im off. Gonna hunker down and cuddle this stormy night away with my loves. Everyone be safe out there.
